Update on C17

C17 is still under maintenance, and it looks like it will still take quite a few hours, sorry.

The good news: C17 will actually be the first one to work in the new setup (other than boards on C20 currently).
I know it's only a small consolation for the extended downtime, but I want to keep you all informed as much as possible so that you know how things are at the moment.

Haha don't mention that. I stayed in a hotel room in NYC a couple weeks ago, and I wanted to start moving things around.

OK... the person who updates me is still sleeping. He will likely sleep in since we're at the beginning of a 36 hour work day, so sit tight. I'll post here as soon as I talk to him.

Also, c7 is lagging badly still this morning. I suppose we will have to put up with it until the move is completed ?

Thanks for letting me know, Rosemary. I'll report it and see if the lag can be taken care of, but I can't guarantee it. Thanks for reporting it though, and let me see what we can do :)

After having coffee earlier today, I went to log in and saw a white page.  I thought, wait...it is November 30th BUT it is not night time yet, so why is my community down?  Went to Support, got that white page and then to send in a ticket and saw the update.  Not realizing my community would be down so early and since I did not tell my members, my members were told this would happen tonight, pacific time.  Any way we can have that maintenance message again? The white page is too lonely!!!  I'm getting the impression from your posts ChrisW that my community will be MIA until tomorrow so anything y'all can do to reassure members that we still exist, is very much appreciated.

Thanks for letting me into this forum.  I knew you would know I wasn't spam.  LOL

Rosemary, I reported the C7 lag, the team was already aware of it, and it might be haunting us until the final steps, sorry.

Shoebutton, good idea, let me ask and see if it is possible to put a maintenance page on C17. That one going down was unexpected, tbh.

I cannot get to my board on C17.  I tried clearing my caches and closing/reopening the browser on the following browsers: Firefox (my main one), Chrome, and IE.

I could reach the main Yuku Support page at yuku.com/support, but cannot get anywhere from there, it just white pages.  I had to type the address in to reach it.  I can't tell you what server its currently on because when I hover over the Yuku at the bottom of the page, no info appears.

I think we are making progress.  :)  Staying positive.
